Can Blyskt deliver flowers and gifts to Disney and Universal hotels?
Yes. Blyskt offers local delivery of eligible fresh flowers, gift boxes, and gift baskets to many hotels and resorts throughout the Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, International Drive, and greater Orlando areas.
Hotel receiving policies vary by property, so all deliveries are subject to the hotel’s current rules and acceptance procedures.
What happens if the hotel refuses to accept the delivery?
What happens if the hotel refuses to accept the delivery?
If hotel staff cannot accept the order, Blyskt may attempt to contact the sender or recipient to arrange another approved delivery option.
Depending on the circumstances, this could include:
- meeting the recipient directly;
- rescheduling delivery;
- changing the delivery location; or
- modifying an item that the hotel cannot accept.
Additional delivery attempts or significant address changes may result in additional delivery charges.
What information do I need to provide for a hotel delivery?
What information do I need to provide for a hotel delivery?
Please provide:
- the recipient’s full name exactly as it appears on the hotel reservation;
- hotel or resort name;
- complete hotel address;
- guest’s check-in or arrival date;
- recipient’s mobile phone number; and
- requested delivery date.
If you know the room number, you may include it, but it is not required in every case.
Accurate guest information is especially important because hotel staff must be able to match the delivery to a registered guest.
Can Blyskt deliver directly to the guest’s room?
Can Blyskt deliver directly to the guest’s room?
Not always.
For security and privacy reasons, hotels may require outside delivery providers to leave flowers and gifts with the Front Desk, Bell Services, Concierge, Luggage Services, or another designated receiving area.
Blyskt cannot guarantee access to guest-room areas.
Once the hotel accepts the delivery, the property determines whether the guest should pick it up or whether hotel staff will arrange internal delivery.
Can I send fresh flowers to a Walt Disney World Resort hotel?
Can I send fresh flowers to a Walt Disney World Resort hotel?
Yes. Fresh flowers are commonly delivered to Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
Disney itself offers floral arrangements and gift baskets for guests staying at its Resort hotels, with deliveries handled through the hotel Front Desk.
Blyskt is an independent local gifting company, so acceptance of a third-party delivery remains subject to the individual hotel’s current receiving procedures.
Can Blyskt deliver fresh flowers to a Universal Orlando hotel?
Can Blyskt deliver fresh flowers to a Universal Orlando hotel?
In many cases, yes, but hotel policies vary.
Several Universal Orlando hotels publish restrictions stating that groceries and other perishables mailed to the hotel cannot be accepted. Some hotel Business Centers also state that they cannot store perishable items.
These published restrictions apply specifically to mailed packages and do not necessarily mean that a locally hand-delivered floral arrangement is prohibited.
When necessary, Blyskt may confirm the hotel’s current receiving procedure before dispatching a fresh flower delivery.
Does “no perishables by mail” mean the hotel does not accept flowers?
Does “no perishables by mail” mean the hotel does not accept flowers?
Not necessarily.
A hotel restriction on mailed perishables generally refers to items sent through shipping carriers or received through the hotel’s mail or package-handling system.
A local floral delivery made directly by a Blyskt delivery provider may be handled through a different hotel department, such as the Front Desk or Bell Services.
Because hotel procedures can change, the hotel’s current receiving policy always controls.
Should I schedule the delivery before or after the guest checks in?
Should I schedule the delivery before or after the guest checks in?
Whenever possible, we recommend scheduling hotel delivery after the guest has checked in.
This makes it easier for hotel staff to identify the recipient and reduces the possibility of the hotel being unable to locate the reservation or hold the delivery.
If you need the gift delivered before check-in, make sure the recipient’s full reservation name and arrival date are accurate.
Hotel storage policies vary, particularly for fresh flowers and food items.
Can I send the gift as a surprise?
Can I send the gift as a surprise?
Absolutely.
You do not need to tell the recipient in advance.
For a surprise delivery, provide the recipient’s full reservation name, hotel, arrival date, and mobile phone number.
Blyskt will avoid contacting the recipient unnecessarily whenever possible. However, Blyskt or hotel staff may need to contact them if additional information is required to complete the delivery.
Do I need the guest’s reservation confirmation number?
Do I need the guest’s reservation confirmation number?
No. A reservation confirmation number is not normally required for Blyskt to attempt a hotel delivery.
Please do not provide sensitive reservation information unless specifically requested.
The guest’s full name as it appears on the reservation and the correct arrival date are generally more useful.
Are there additional hotel handling or delivery fees?
Are there additional hotel handling or delivery fees?
Possibly.
Some hotels charge guests for package handling, storage, Bell Services delivery, or other internal services.
These charges are determined by the hotel and are separate from Blyskt’s delivery fee.
Blyskt does not control or collect hotel-imposed fees unless specifically stated during checkout.
